I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Communications from the University of Washington (1992). I earned my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Washington University in 1996.
For two years following graduation from my Masters degree, I worked with adults with chronic mental illness as a vocational counselor and then as a vocational services coordinator at a community mental health center. From 1998 until 2008 I worked at a local university with individuals with various kinds of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities as both a counselor and an Assistant Director. From 2008 until 2012 I worked for a counseling agency in Bellevue in addition to my private practice. I have been in private practice since 2002.

I am a nationally certified counselor and a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (#LH00006062).
