I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Communications from the University of Washington (1992). I earned my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Washington University in 1996.
For two years following graduation from my Masters degree, I worked with adults with chronic mental illness as a vocational counselor and then as a vocational services coordinator at a community mental health center. In 2002 I opened my private practice. In addition to my private practice, from 1998 to 2008 I worked at a local university with individuals with various kinds of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities as both a counselor and an Assistant Director. From 2008 to 2012 I worked for a counseling agency in Bellevue. From 2012 to the present I have been in private practice full time.
